The Practice

Our Tai Chi classes focus on boosting health and vitality for the body and mind.  Low impact, easy to start classes are suitable for people of all ages, physical abilities, shapes, and sizes.Whether you are a total beginner, recovering from an injury, out of shape, pregnant or think you are too old, you will find our classes suitable, easy to learn and beneficial for all. 

The classes are friendly and welcoming. New students start by building a strong  foundation and good basics  combining physical exercise, mindfulness, correct breathing and relaxation in a safe and supportive environment.  All students follow a well structured program with one-to-one attention from the teacher – sifu and his senior students evey step of the way.  The classes are kept small to ensure that all students receive individual attention and gain the maximum benefits from their training.

The training involves learning slow, controlled movements and postures that improve balance, flexibility, and strength. It emphasizes deep breathing, mindful focus, and body alignment to cultivate both physical and mental well-being. Beginners typically start with basic movements and forms, gradually progressing to more complex sequences, while also learning the principles of relaxation, energy flow (Chi), and coordination. The practice encourages patience, consistency, and mindfulness, offering benefits for the body, mind, and spirit.
