The youngest son of the legendary Grandmaster Lam Cho, Lam Chun Sing Sifu was born on January 30th, 1952. Raised in a family of expert kung fu masters, Grandmaster Lam Chun Sing began his training as soon as he was able to stand. The training was rigorous and demanding, and like his siblings, he was required to practice daily under the strict discipline of his renowned father. In the Lam family household, mastering the family art of Hung Gar was taken with the utmost seriousness and dedication.
Lam Chun Sing sifu is one of the most prominent Hung Kuen masters in the world. He has dedicated his life to his family legacy and has worked tirelessly to teach and promote his family system all over the world.

Raised in a family of skilled martial artists, Lam Chun Sing began his Gung Fu training as soon as he could stand. The training was intense and demanding, and like his brothers and sisters, Lam Sifu trained daily under the strict discipline of his renowned father. His practice was relentless with discipline and consitency was taken extremly seriously. Skipping training resulted in severe punishment. For the Lam family, mastering the art of Hung Gar was of utmost importance, and every movement, principle, and concept had to be perfected before advancing. For Lam Sifu, this was a way of life. His natural talent, dedication, and years of rigorous training under strict discipline allowed him to quickly grasp and master the entire system. He is one of the few masters who truly understands every detail of Hung Gar Gung Fu by heart.
In addition to Gung Fu, Lam Sifu also studied and mastered the traditional art of Dit Da, the healing practice that goes hand in hand with martial arts. He was taught various patient treatment techniques and traditional herbal formulas, knowledge that was passed down through generations from father to son or master to chosen student. As a young man, Lam Sifu assisted his father in teaching martial arts and treating patients.
In 1973, Lam Chun Sing Sifu opened his own Gung Fu school and Dit Da clinic in Jordan, Hong Kong, where he taught the traditional art of Hung Gar to anyone interested in learning. However, he closed the Jordan school after one year to focus on business. In 1975, Lam Sifu returned to his father’s legendary studio to continue teaching Hung Gar.
For years, he oversaw teaching at legandary Mong Kok studio, where he has took on his father’s role, passing on the family’s martial art to eager students. Every year, students from around the world travel to Hong Kong to train at the famous studio, receiving personal instruction from Lam Chun Sing Sifu. Over the years, Lam Sifu has been invited to give demonstrations, lead seminars, and teach private classes across various countries, including England, Czech Republic, Slovakia,Brazil, Italy just to name a few.
In a class of his own, Lam Sifu is an exceptional Gung Fu master and an outstanding teacher. He has dedicated his life to the promotion, and advancement of Lam Family Hung Kuen. Lam Sifu is a living embodiment of the art he teaches and an exemplary Gung Fu master. With decades of firsthand experience, in-depth knowledge, and wisdom, he knows exactly how to impart the full teachings of Hung Kuen to future generations. Patient and precise, he is meticulous in his approach, taking the time to thoroughly explain the principles of the art to his students. Lam Chun Sing Sifu currently resides in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China, where he runs a full-time Dit Da clinic and kung fu studio. He continues to teach his family’s style of Hung Kuen and regularly welcomes visiting students from around the world.
